Swedish Massage is the what comes to mind when most people think of massage. One of the primary goals of the Swedish massage is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes with lighter pressure in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage is also beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Deep Tissue Massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using the same strokes as in Swedish massage but the movement is slower with deeper pressure  and concentrated on areas of tension/pain.

Hot Stone Massage uses the placement of heated stones (basalt stones, a type of volcanic rock that stays warm longer) upon different parts of the body so that the heat gets into the muscles to help release tension. The stones are left on the body for a period of time as well as being applied by hand pressure in conjunction with Swedish or Deep tissue techniques.

Chair Massage is done fully clothed with out the use of oils or creams while seated in a special massage chair. The chair allows for the best alignment of the neck, back, and shoulders which are the focus in chair massage.

Pre-Natal/Pregnancy Massage focuses on helping mommy-to-be through the body changes occurring in each trimester.
